Chelsea signed off their season with a 1-0 friendly victory over Sydney FC at the ANZ Stadium in Australia.

A crowd of 83,598 gathered to watch the Barclays Premier League champions, who fielded a strong team including Eden Hazard and John Terry, bring down the curtain on their 2014-15 campaign.

The game was settled in the 31st minute when Loic Remy gathered the ball from Jeremie Boga out wide before cutting into the area and thumping a stunning left-footed shot into the top left corner.

Blues striker Diego Costa, who has been linked with a move back to Spain in the media, was substituted five minutes before the interval in the victory.
