Real Madrid to raid the Premier League in transfer rush?

Real Madrid have labelled their transfer ban 'absurd' and insist they intend to fight the transfer sanction that threatens to limit their spending for two windows. This will essentially follow the same pattern as Barcelona, providing the next two windows to fill their boots.

A report in the Sun claims that Eden Hazard, David De Gea and Sergio Aguero are all wanted men with The Star adding Harry Kane and John Stones to the list of players that will be absorbed into the Real Madrid circus.

New boss Zinedine Zidane will be looking to load-up on the players he believes he needs to challenge Barcelona domestically and the best of Europe in the Champions League. In 2014 the precedent was set with Barcelona with the Court of Arbitration for Sport temporarily halting the ban and enabling Barca to buy all the players they wanted whilst the case was heard.

I suspect there is an element of scaremongering but certainly Hazard and De Gea have been on the radar for some time with De Gea failing to complete his move by minutes due to the speed of fax communication. A figure of £250m has been suggested as the total spend and you would think Hazzard and Aguero would make up close to £160m between the both of them.

Hazard remains the No 1 target with Zinedine Zidane known to be a big fan. Hazzard's value is understood to be £80m and according to the Express the player has told friends that he is leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. It is hoped however that the possible coaching appointment of Didier Drogba, a close friend of Hazzard, could be enough to convince him to stay.
