PSG Preparing A 60 million Euro Bid For Eden Hazard

Paris Saint-Germain are confident that they will be able to convince Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, to leave Stamford Bridge next summer with an immense €60 million offer.

The Parisian club is known for their deep pockets as proved by their acquisitions of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, and Thiago Silva and are looking to do it again with Hazard.

According to reports in France, PSG manager Laurent Blanc and chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi have put the Chelsea midfielder at the top of their summer target list.

The French champions are said to want a “third striker” to play behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani in a more creative role, and Hazard would fit that role quite well.

French reports claim that Hazard has confided in an old Lille teammate that he does see himself moving to the Parc Des Princes and is uncertain of his future after this season.

It is unlikely that Chelsea will be willing to let go of their star midfielder, as he has produced several match-winning performances this season. However, PSG believes that a hefty transfer sum will be Chelsea’s weakness and they are willing to play on that weakness with an offer that will be very hard to refuse.

On the other hard, Blues boss, Jose Mourinho, is keen on keeping the Belgian star in his lineup, which could mean that Hazard is in for a pay raise from his current team in order to ward off any interest from the Ligue 1 leaders.

PSG has also been linked earlier this week with Hazard’s teammate, Juan Mata. While Hazard has been a Mourinho favorite from the start, Mata has failed to convince the Portuguese manager that he deserves a permanent starting position.
