Chelsea boss Avram Grant is pleased with the progress his side has made since he replaced Jose Mourinho as manager in September.
The Blues have won their last seven games in all competitions including Champions League successes against Valencia and Schalke.
Chelsea face the Bundesliga side again on Tuesday, just two weeks after beating them 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Grant said in the build-up to the match: "In any aspect of the game we have improved. Our defence game is better but especially our attacking football. We are attacking better, more organised.
"It hasn't happened in a very short time because when you want to build a team of attacking football, it is much more difficult than to build a team of defensive football.
"I am very pleased with the progress and of course the results but Tuesday is the Champions League.
"Our first win was against Valencia after we lost two points to Rosenborg at home, so we are now in a good position but we haven't finished yet. We want to finish it as soon as possible.
"I think the team get very good credit, this is more important to me at this stage, because to do so much positive things in a short time, I think the credit needs to go to everybody.
"It is not easy to do such a thing in such a short time but if you have players like this and the management and the staff are so good, it's much easier."
