Premier League Predictions: 29th-30th Sep 2012

28 September 2012 10:02
THE BIG MATCH: Arsenal v Chelsea

Much of the pre-match build up will no doubt surround the ongoing John Terry saga – maybe it shouldn’t. Perhaps the greater emphasis should be placed on Arsene Wenger as he approaches yet another notable landmark.

The Arsenal boss completes 16 years in charge of the Gunners on Monday, and victory over Chelsea would hand him his 350th Premier League win as Arsenal manager.

League leaders Chelsea will go into the game full of confidence, having only dropped points to QPR earlier this month, but I think home advantage will count.

MATCH VERDICT:
A Gunners’ win by the odd goal in three with Lukas Podolski to get the first goal.

BETWAY ODDS:

Arsenal to win - 11/10
Arsenal to win 2-1 - 27/4
Podolski to score first - 9/2
