Burnley striker Ashley Barnes is pushing for a first league start since April. Barnes has battled back to fitness after a lengthy lay-off and has impressed in three substitute appearances, putting Sam Vokes at risk up front. George Boyd's tireless running could also put him in contention for a recall against City but there are no injuries to contend with.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Sergio Aguero ended the midweek Champions League clash at Borussia Monchengladbach with a minor foot problem which will need to be assessed. Defender Pablo Zabaleta will also be checked after missing the game in Germany with a knock but captain Vincent Kompany (knee) could be out for up to six weeks. Midfielder Fabian Delph is nearing a return after a groin operation.

Tottenham are without both their first-choice left backs for the game at Stamford Bridge. Danny Rose is suspended and Ben Davies is out with an ankle injury, meaning Jan Vertonghen is likely to fill in with Kevin Wimmer continuing at centre-half. Erik Lamela remains out with a hip problem while Toby Alderweireld is back in training following his knee injury but will not be ready to play this weekend.

Club-record signing Nacer Chadli could be back in the West Brom squad. The £13million summer signing from Tottenham has missed the two matches either side of the international break after undergoing minor knee surgery. He has resumed training and Baggies boss Tony Pulis will make a late decision about whether he travels. Pulis has a couple of unnamed players nursing knocks following Monday's win over Burnley while goalkeeper Boaz Myhill (ankle) and striker Saido Berahino, who is still considered short of match fitness by Pulis, remain out.

Record £30million signing Islam Slimani is expected to return after a groin injury and Leonardo Ulloa has shrugged off a back problem.
Middlesbrough defender George Friend picked up a knee injury in training prior to Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea and is expected to be ruled out for around four weeks. Brazilian full-back Fabio is expected to keep his place in Friend's absence while Dani Ayala is still absent with an ankle injury.

Palace striker Loic Remy, who has been out with a thigh injury, has suffered a setback after picking up a calf problem during his recovery and will be out for at least two weeks more than originally thought. Goalkeeper Steve Mandanda (knee) and defender Pape Souare (broken leg) remain sidelined.

Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns. Arsene Wenger will pick from the same squad that drew 2-2 against Paris St Germain on Wednesday night, although the likes of Theo Walcott, Granit Xhaka and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be pushing to start. None of the Gunners' injured players are fit enough to return with Santi Cazorla (Achilles), Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck (both knee), Hector Bellerin and Lucas Perez (both ankle) all out.
