Burnley (12) v Manchester City (3)

Burnley striker Ashley Barnes is pushing for a first league start since April. Barnes has battled back to fitness after a lengthy lay-off and has impressed in three substitute appearances, putting Sam Vokes at risk up front. George Boyd's tireless running could also put him in contention for a recall against City but there are no injuries to contend with.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Sergio Aguero ended the midweek Champions League clash at Borussia Monchengladbach with a minor foot problem which will need to be assessed. Defender Pablo Zabaleta will also be checked after missing the game in Germany with a knock but captain Vincent Kompany (knee) could be out for up to six weeks. Midfielder Fabian Delph is nearing a return after a groin operation.

Chelsea (1) v Tottenham (5)

Chelsea captain John Terry is out with a buttock injury. Terry, 36 next month, has made one start in seven games following an ankle injury and is expected to be out for two to three weeks. Midfielder John Obi Mikel is to return to training next week following an undisclosed muscular injury.

Tottenham are without both their first-choice left backs for the game at Stamford Bridge. Danny Rose is suspended and Ben Davies is out with an ankle injury, meaning Jan Vertonghen is likely to fill in with Kevin Wimmer continuing at centre-half. Erik Lamela remains out with a hip problem while Toby Alderweireld is back in training following his knee injury but will not be ready to play this weekend.

Hull (18) v West Brom (9)

Hull pair Adama Diomande and Andrew Robertson will both return to contention. Striker Diomande has served a three-game ban, while Scotland defender Robertson has been sidelined for six weeks due to a calf injury. Boss Mike Phelan, who has no other new injury or suspension concerns, must decide whether to stick with teenage defender Josh Tymon, who could make his home league debut after starting in last week's defeat at Sunderland.

Club-record signing Nacer Chadli could be back in the West Brom squad. The £13million summer signing from Tottenham has missed the two matches either side of the international break after undergoing minor knee surgery. He has resumed training and Baggies boss Tony Pulis will make a late decision about whether he travels. Pulis has a couple of unnamed players nursing knocks following Monday's win over Burnley while goalkeeper Boaz Myhill (ankle) and striker Saido Berahino, who is still considered short of match fitness by Pulis, remain out.

Leicester (14) v Middlesbrough (15)

Danny Drinkwater starts his three-game ban for Leicester after accepting a Football Association charge of violent conduct. The England midfielder was punished after elbowing Valon Behrami, something which was missed by referee Neil Swarbrick at the time, during the Foxes' 2-1 defeat at Watford last week. Kasper Schmeichel is also out with a fractured hand and while Nampalys Mendy and Ben Chilwell (both ankle) have returned to training they are not yet fit for the champions. Record £30million signing Islam Slimani is expected to return after a groin injury and Leonardo Ulloa has shrugged off a back problem.

Middlesbrough defender George Friend picked up a knee injury in training prior to Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea and is expected to be ruled out for around four weeks. Brazilian full-back Fabio is expected to keep his place in Friend's absence while Dani Ayala is still absent with an ankle injury.

Liverpool (2) v Sunderland (19)

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana remains a doubt after he injured his groin on international duty on November 15 and missed last week's goalless draw at former club Southampton. Defender Joe Gomez made his return to competitive action for the under-23s in midweek after 13 months out with a knee injury but it is too early for him to be considered for first-team selection.

Sunderland boss David Moyes will be forced to make changes for the trip to Anfield. Paddy McNair has been ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his cruciate ligament in last week's win over Hull, while Papy Djilobodji is suspended after being sent off in the same game. John O'Shea and Steven Pienaar are in line to return to the starting line-up.

Swansea (20) v Crystal Palace (16)

Swansea are without midfielder Ki Sung-yueng. Ki came off the bench in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Everton but it is understood that the South Korea international actually broke his toe against Manchester United three weeks ago and now faces a fortnight on the sidelines. Wingers Nathan Dyer and Jefferson Montero are both fit after recent injuries, but Bob Bradley is set to name an unchanged side as he attempts to claim his first win in charge of the Swans.

Palace striker Loic Remy, who has been out with a thigh injury, has suffered a setback after picking up a calf problem during his recovery and will be out for at least two weeks more than originally thought. Goalkeeper Steve Mandanda (knee) and defender Pape Souare (broken leg) remain sidelined.

Arsenal (4) v Bournemouth (10)

Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns. Arsene Wenger will pick from the same squad that drew 2-2 against Paris St Germain on Wednesday night, although the likes of Theo Walcott, Granit Xhaka and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be pushing to start. None of the Gunners' injured players are fit enough to return with Santi Cazorla (Achilles), Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck (both knee), Hector Bellerin and Lucas Perez (both ankle) all out.

Jack Wilshere is ineligible for Bournemouth when they face his parent club at the Emirates Stadium. Goalkeeper Artur Boruc faces a late fitness test on his back problem so Adam Federici could come in again, while midfielder Andrew Surman has been struggling with a hamstring injury. Defender Adam Smith returns from a one-match suspension and midfielder Jordon Ibe is expected to be available following illness.

Manchester United (6) v West Ham (17)

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return from the domestic ban which ruled him out of the 1-1 draw with Arsenal. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Wayne Rooney will hope to keep their places after impressive displays in the Europa League against Feyenoord. Goalkeeper David de Gea is set to be recalled but Eric Bailly (knee) and Chris Smalling (toe) are still out, while United boss Jose Mourinho must determine whether Michael Carrick can make a third start in nine days against his old club.

West Ham captain Mark Noble returns from suspension but defender Winston Reid serves a one-match ban. Midfielder Pedro Obiang is expected to be available despite missing training earlier this week due to an ankle injury. Long-term absentee Andy Carroll has resumed training after his ankle injury but Reece Oxford, Sam Byram, Gokhan Tore and Arthur Masuaku are still sidelined.

Southampton (11) v Everton (7)

Dusan Tadic is not expected to be available for Southampton as the Serbian midfielder continues his recovery from a broken nose. Defender Jose Fonte will be assessed on a foot problem, with manager Claude Puel hopeful the captain will be fit having not travelled for Thursday's Europa League defeat at Sparta Prague. Forward Charlie Austin, full-back Ryan Bertrand, midfielders Oriol Romeu and Steve Davis should all be recalled, but Matt Targett continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.

Everton have no new injury problems for the trip to St Mary's. Manager Ronald Koeman also has midfielder Gareth Barry back from suspension and could face a few selection dilemmas. Only long-term absentees Muhamed Besic (knee) and Matthew Pennington (hamstring) are on the sidelines.

Watford (8) v Stoke (13)

Watford could be without defender Younes Kaboul after Hornets boss Walter Mazzarri revealed he had suffered a knock in training. Craig Cathcart (groin) and Isaac Success (foot) are longer-term absentees, while Odion Ighalo is likely to be on the bench again having been dropped for last weekend's win over champions Leicester.

Stoke will be without influential midfielder Joe Allen through suspension, leaving boss Mark Hughes light in the midfield department with Glenn Whelan (calf) also a doubt and Geoff Cameron (knee) still out. Full-back Phil Bardsley (knee) will miss a number of weeks, along with Ibrahim Afellay (knee), though England goalkeeper Jack Butland (ankle) is close to a comeback.
