Portsmouth, Hull and Blackburn fight it out to land ex-Chelsea star Zenden

The former Chelsea, Middlesbrough and Liverpool star is a free agent after being released by Marseille. The 32-year-old Dutchman said: 'Hull, Blackburn and Portsmouth have expressed an interest and I am in talks with all those clubs.  'There are other teams interested but my main preference is to move toEngland. The Premier League is the best in the world with the best players. 'I am in Holland at the minute but once everything is agreed I am ready to get on the first flight to England.' Meanwhile, Anthony Vanden Borre is expected to put the finishes touches on his move to Portsmouth later today (Thursday). The 21-year-old midfielder will fly in after playing for Belgium in their defeat against the Czech Republic last night. And Pompey boss Paul Hart has also held talks with Rennes about taking French midfielder Olivier Thomert on loan.
