FC Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma has extended his contract with the Portuguese club, ending talk of a big-money move to England.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a host of Premier League teams, including Chelsea, but Quaresma has not extended his deal with Porto to run until the summer of 2011.
He told the club's official website: "I am delighted by the renewal. It is a sign that there is affection on both sides and also of the love that I have for the club and the people who work here.
"The renewal came as the president and all the people who are in this club felt that I should extend my contract and I was pleased when we talked about it.
"I have the spirit to help the club and to help the team win games and titles. Everybody knows that Porto have taught me a lot and made me grow.
"I am pleased to be here at a crucial time for the club, that is what made me renew until 2011."
