Porto goalkeeper Helton has told skysports.com that the absence of Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa is a huge boost to them. Both Drogba and Boswingwa are suspended for the opening Champions League group match as Porto tackle Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The duo picked up bans following their outbursts at the end of Chelsea's semi-final defeat to Barcelona last season and Helton admits Porto will look to take advantage of the situation. "Drogba and Bosingwa are out, and for the match this is important but for Porto this is sensational," he told skysports.com. "I always want to play against the best teams, but we also need this little bit of help. "We know the match will not be easy, but in our heads we still remember last season at Old Trafford [which ended 2-2]. "The pressure in this match will be on them, but we are also obliged to show that we are the champions of Portugal. "We need to be calm and play without nerves, against clubs with great attacks any error could cost you a goal - so it is never easy and we need to concentrate fully from the first minute." Helton admits that coach Jesulado Ferreira is looking to get something from the game. "Our coach has worked hard on this match," he continued. "We need to begin with a positive scoreline in London and it will be a big boost to our morale if we can do this. "We have looked at many Chelsea games from this season, their goalscoring has been incredible - any of their players have potential to score. "And [Carlo] Ancelotti is a sensational coach, for is this is not the best match but we go into this with high spirits." The Brazilian international admits the group, which also includes Atletico Madrid and APOEL Nicosia, is a tough one. "The group is complicated and very open," he said. "Chelsea, us and Atletico Madrid appears the favourites for the top two places but I am convinced the Cypriot team will offer a surprise. "I suspect this group will go to the last matches before it is decided."
