Porato handed Blues trial

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has handed a trial to former France goalkeeper Stephane Porato as he continues to plan for life without Petr Cech.
The Blues' number one is expected to sit out the remainder of the season after suffering a fractured skull during the 1-0 win at Reading on October 14, leaving Carlo Cudicini and Hilario as the only senior goalkeepers available to Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach is keen to bring in cover, but transfer window regulations mean he can currently only sign free agents.
Porato, who played for Monaco and Marseille earlier in his career, fits into that category, having been released by Ajaccio in the summer.
Meanwhile, Cudicini has stepped up his training after recovering from his own head injury and hopes to return to action against Sheffield United on Saturday.
