Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has dismissed reports Avram Grant will be appointed manager in the summer.[LNB]A report on Sunday claimed former Chelsea boss Grant would be offered the manager's job at Fratton Park at the end of the season.[LNB]Paul Hart is currently in caretaker charge and along with his assistant Brian Kidd has guided the club towards safety.[LNB]Storrie told the club's official website: "Avram is a good friend of the club but to suggest he will be returning to Fratton Park is totally untrue. There have been absolutely no discussions with Avram.[LNB]"Had the Sunday newspaper checked with the club, we would have told them so.[LNB]"Paul and Brian have done a tremendous job. They came in at a time when we had gained only two points from nine games and were heading towards the bottom three. [LNB]"They have more than steadied the ship and we have once again become a team that is very difficult to beat."[LNB]
