AC Milan playmaker Andrea Pirlo has dropped a hint that he may consider a summer switch to Chelsea and follow Carlo Ancelotti to Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old Italy international is rumoured to be high on former Milan coach Ancelotti's wish-list, with Pirlo seemingly considering a change of clubs following Kaka's world record switch to Real Madrid from the San Siro.
Pirlo told Sky Italia: "Would I go to Chelsea? We'll see."
Meanwhile, the Blues have been told that Pirlo's Rossoneri team-mate Alexandre Pato is not for sale, despite the Brazilian forward having made noises that he would like to move to Stamford Bridge.
Another player being linked with the Blues, Internazionale wing-back Douglas Maicon, is also moving closer to a summer transfer.
The 27-year-old's agent, Antonio Caliendo, told calciomercato.it: "Maicon has many years left on his contract with Inter. However, I believe he hasn't received the attention he deserves.
"Chelsea and Real? We have several options open to us, but first we want to see what happens with Inter."
