Paul Gascoigne and Jimmy Greaves live on stage to talk about booze battles

Opening up: Gascoigne[LNB]England legends Paul Gascoigne and Jimmy Greaves are taking to the stage to talk about their battles with addiction. [LNB]The recovering alcoholics will be grilled by a live audience in Bournemouth in a scheme dreamed up by the treatment centre where Gascoigne has spent the last three months. [LNB]The 43-year-old former Tottenham, Newcastle and Rangers star, who also played for Everton, Lazio, Middlesbrough and Burnley, has been treated at the Providence Project rehab clinic in Bournemouth for depression and addiction to alcohol and cocaine.[LNB]The first show will take place in the town on June 18 and promoters are planning a six-date UK tour if the event is a success. [LNB]Gascoignesaid: 'It will definitely be entertaining. I'll be talking about what people have seen during my career, some of the goals I've scored and some of the more daft things I've done. [LNB]'There's the dentist's chair, and stealing the Middlesbrough team bus and crashing it. The alcohol took over my life. Now it's turned around and all good stuff is happening.'[LNB] Greaves was a hero for England, Chelsea and Spurs and Gazza is relishing the chance to link up with the 71-year-old former striker. [LNB]He added: 'Jimmy is a lovely guy and was a great player. He is a good person to have around me.'
