AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has targeted showdown discussions with Carlo Ancelotti as Chelsea prepare to lure him to Stamford Bridge. Sportsmail revealed earlier this month that the Blues are lining up a double swoop for Pato and Manchester City youngster Daniel Sturridge. The Barclays Premier League team are understood to be ready to offer Milan £45million. The Brazil international Pato is a protege of former AC Milan coach Ancelotti, who has replaced Guus Hiddink at Chelsea. He has since gone on to hit 15 Serie A goals for the Rossoneri and has been linked with a summer move to Chelsea in the wake of Ancelotti's arrival at Stamford Bridge. The 19-year-old, who is under contract at Milan until 2012, is currently preparing for the Confederations Cup and revealed he will wait until the end of the tournament before thrashing out his future with Milan's chiefs. 'It's an honour to be liked by a club like Chelsea,' Pato told La Gazzetta dello Sport. 'With respect to my future, nothing has been decided yet. 'At the end of June, after the Confederations Cup in South Africa, I will meet with the Rossoneri executives and speak about my future. 'But before that happens, I will speak to Ancelotti. He is an extraordinary man. It's thanks to Ancelotti that I have been able to emerge at AC Milan and in Italian football. 'Before I decide my future, I want to talk to him.'
