Palermo vice-president Guglielmo Micciche says Javier Pastore is "very likely" to join Chelsea - and expects him to cost close to £40million.[LNB] The Sicilian club's chief Maurizio Zamparini stated on Saturday that Manchester City and Roma, along with Chelsea, were interested in landing the Argentine forward.[LNB]But now Micciche has admitted that Chelsea are in pole position to land the 22-year-old, who Palermo have previously insisted would cost any side €45million (£39.7million). [LNB]"We are talking about a great player who, in my opinion, is extraordinary," Micciche explained to Radio Sportiva.[LNB]"There is no doubt that he should be sold for several reasons. He wants a big club and negotiations are well advanced with a very important team. [LNB]"His agent is working well and if someone pays the right amount we are happy to let him go. [LNB]"Very likely he will go to Chelsea but I think there are many other clubs of that level looking at the boy."[LNB]Micciche ruled out any suggestion of a player plus cash deal for Pastore, adding: "We don't want any players in exchange, it would be impossible because it would mean taking players of a level that Palermo could not afford."
