Oscar delighted by debut goals

Chelsea's new hero Oscar has revealed his delight at scoring such a "beautiful goal" on his full debut for the European champions.

Oscar scored twice in a matter of minutes - the second a stunner - to put the Blues two goals ahead against Juventus before the Italian champions earned a 2-2 draw. And while there was disappointment at Stamford Bridge not to have won their UEFA Champions League Group E encounter, Oscar was happy with his own efforts.

"I was very happy to score my first goal in the Champions League and my first goal at Chelsea," said the £25million man. "The first one, the ball deflected, so I was a bit lucky. "I was playing very well, so I could score this beautiful goal and I'm very happy with this debut." The 21-year-old had been substituted by the time Fabio Quagliarella equalised late on after being trod on by Juve defender Leonardo Bonucci.

Roberto Di Matteo suggested UEFA should study the incident and consider retrospective punishment. "If UEFA has a look, then good," he said, revealing Oscar had suffered an ankle knock that would be assessed on Thursday.
