Staying in the Midlands: Michael Mancienne not recalled by Chelsea[LNB]Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne is to remain on loan at Wolves for the remainder of the season. [LNB]The Blues had the option of recalling Mancienne during January afterhe spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Molineux. [LNB]That deadline has now passed and the England Under-21 player will stay with Wolves. [LNB]But Mancienne's first priority is to recover from a knee injury. [LNB]Wolves boss Mick McCarthy said: 'There was a deadline for Chelsea to recall Michael and that's passed. [LNB]'He hasn't been recalled and he's our player to the end of the season. [LNB]'That's good news - but it will be even better when he's fit and at the moment he's still undergoing his rehab. [LNB]'He's having that back at Chelsea and our physio is in contact with their physio. '[LNB]'He'll be out for a total of six weeks. That's where we're at with him.' [LNB]Mancienne is in his third loan spell with Wolves. [LNB] McCarthy will resist the temptation to sell midfielder Dave Jones, who is out of contract next summer, during the current transfer window. [LNB]Jones has not put pen to paper on a new deal and can leave on a free transfer in May.[LNB] McCarthy said: 'Dave is a good player. He is still around. [LNB]'If I sell Dave, I'll probably have to get someone else in which is counter-productive, to lose a good player and be looking for another one. [LNB]'I've no desire to cash in on him whatsoever and maybe it is in Dave's interest to let his contract run out. [LNB]'He is in a stronger position then.'[LNB] Wolves are ready to snap up Lens midfielder Sidi KeitaManchester City v WOLVES: Captain Karl Henry among returning trioWOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS FC: All the latest news from across the web[LNB] [LNB]  Explore more:People: Mick McCarthy Places: United Kingdom
