We spoke tothe players and explained to them the behaviour that is required inthis club. It was a good meeting. Now they know very well what theyhave to do. [LNB]'We are interested, me and the club, in protecting the image of thisclub, not only the players and manager, all the staff. The people whowork in this club have to protect that image. [LNB]'We expect good behaviour from everyone. I'm not interested in thepast. We have to look, together, at the club in the future. This is aline in the sand.' [LNB]Sidelined: Lampard has been struck down by a virus [LNB]Even so, Chelsea confirmed they are ready to take retrospectivedisciplinary action against anyone breaching club conduct rules, meaning Cole could yet be hit with a fine of up to two weeks' wages- £200,000. The ultimate sanction for any player would be to be placedon the transfer list. [LNB]In addition, the unnamed member of Chelsea's staff who is claimed tohave smuggled one of the women into the hotel could also face areprimand. [LNB]As for Terry, aside from his affair with Perroncel which saw him stripped of the England captaincy by Fabio Capello, the Daily Mail also revealed how he had touted his box at Wembley for £4,000 a game via an associate of his management agents. [LNB]Terry was also caught by a Sunday newspaper offering to give aguided tour of Chelsea's training ground for £10,000, although the clubinsist their skipper did not accept any money.
