Nigeria have again overlooked Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi for next month's 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Liberia.

The Chelsea ace was not called up for a series of qualifying matches in June and was again not picked by coach Stephen Keshi for a September 8 clash against the Lone Star of Liberia in Monrovia.

Also not picked for this game is Peter Odemwingie, who features for West Bromwich Albion, also of the English Premier League.

However, Keshi has recalled strikers Brown Ideye and Emmanuel Emenike for the match in Liberia.

Both Ideye from Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev and Emenike, who plays for Russian club Spartak Moscow, have been in fine form for their European clubs and have now been rewarded with a chance to prove they can deliver in a Nigerian shirt.

The strikers are among 11 overseas-based professionals listed for the 2013 Nations Cup final qualifier.

Others include Victor Moses, who on Friday completed his transfer from Wigan to Chelsea, skipper Joseph Yobo as well as new Real Betis signing Nosa Igiebor.

Goalkeeper: Vincent Enyeama (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Israel)

Defenders: Joseph Yobo (Fenerbahce, Turkey); Efe Ambrose (Ashdod FC,Israel); Elderson Echiejile (Sporting Braga, Portugal)
