Neymar told not to move to England by Santos President

Brazilian wonderkid Neymar has been warned off moving to Chelsea by the president of his current club, Santos. Carlo Ancelotti witnessed the forward's outstanding display against Scotland at the Emirates on Sunday and Chelsea have renewed their interest in the 19-year-old. Ancelotti failed with a bid last year but Neymar has said it would be a 'dream' to play for the Blues. Bound for the Bridge? However, Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro de Oliveira believes that Neymar would struggle to adapt to English football. He said: 'Playing in England is not the same as playing at (Santos' stadium) Vila Belmiro. Keeping an eye: Carlo Ancelotti watched Neymar play for Brazil against Scotland 'It is much worse, because of the climate and the style of football, which he is unaccustomed to. 'We have demonstrated that, as he has developed into a player who represents the best of Brazilian football - being audacious, skillful, effective, attacking - he is going to become a key figure in the history of Brazilian football. 'He is going to gain international recognition, and maybe get chosen as the best player in the world, playing in Brazil. Fair-weather player? Santos' president believes the English weather wouldn't suit Neymar 'This is something that hasn't happened since Pele's day, and he has a golden chance.' The move fell through last year as Neymar and his family felt it was too soon to leave Brazil, and he has not indicated yet that he is willing to force through a move.
