New Diego Forlan heading for Chelsea as Blues invite Juan Cruz Mascia for talks

Chelsea have invited the heir to Diego Forlan's throne for talks at Stamford Bridge.

Juan Cruz Mascia, 17, is keen to move to the Premier League and his club Miramar are reported to be willing to let him go.

The tall teenager was top scorer in the South American Under 17 championship with six goals as Uruguay finished runner-up to Brazil.

Mascia is rated as one of the hottest prospects in Uruguay and veteran striker Forlan is a big fan of the youngster.

Chelsea have moved quickly as Mascia has caught the eye of several clubs in the English top flight while his form has also been noted in Italy and Spain.
