Napoli deny Hamsik bids

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has again insisted that Chelsea have not made a move for Marek Hamsik.[LNB] The Slovak midfield star has long been linked with a move to England, with Chelsea thought to be leading the chase.[LNB]But Naples supremo De Laurentiis has moved to deny weekend reports that Chelsea have lodged an offer.[LNB]"I don't think Marek will be leaving Napoli," he told Sky Italia.[LNB]"He has a long contract with us and he is very well in Napoli.[LNB]"I won't just yield to any offer from Chelsea, we don't need their money."[LNB]A few days earlier his agent Juraj Venglos claimed that interest in Hamsik was mounting.[LNB]Venglos stated: "It is too early to talk about Marek's future, but indeed there is a strong interest in him."[LNB]PazziniMeanwhile, De Laurentiis confirmed his interest in taking Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini.[LNB]The 25-year-old is one of the form strikers in Serie A with six goals to his name, and now De Laurentiis admits he would like Pazzini.[LNB]A deal could involve midfielder Daniele Mannini - who moved to Samp in the summer, but is co-owned by Napoli.[LNB]"I am happy for Mannini. Last season he had a year that psychologically I wouldn't wish on anybody," De Laurentiis said.[LNB]"He has now rediscovered both mental and physical form and is doing very well. He's a good lad, very prepared, and he only needed to rediscover certainty and security.[LNB]"Samp are playing great. He is still 50 per cent owned by Napoli. If Marotta wants Mannini then I'll ask him for Pazzini."[LNB]
