Moyes disappointed Chelsea out of Europe

Everton manager David Moyes was disappointed Chelsea did not reach the Champions League final - even though it will make life slightly harder for his own side later this month. The two clubs meet in the FA Cup final at Wembley three days after the date of the culmination of the Champions League in Rome. Had Guus Hiddink's team got through against Barcelona in midweek it would have meant an extra match in the last week of the season while the Toffees would have had six uninterrupted days to prepare. "It would probably have suited us if they were still in it because it would have given them another game," said Moyes. "But I was disappointed. I'd have liked Chelsea to have gone through for everyone's sake and I'm disappointed they did not make it. "Overall the final is a one-off game at Wembley and who knows how it's going to go."
