Return: Jose Mourinho Jose Mourinho has put Liverpool and Manchester City on red-alert after revealing he has a £5.5million buy-out clause in his Inter Milan contract. The former Chelsea boss' future in Italy has been thrown into doubt after a topsy-turvy season-and-a-half at the San Siro. Liverpool and Manchester City could be in the market for a new manager in the summer and the Premier League pair have kept a close eye on Mourinho's situation. And Portuguese manager has fuelled talk of a potential return to England after admitting he is prepared to buy himself out of his contract at the San Siro. He said: 'The club and I signed a very objective contract until 2012, because we want to work together. 'But there is a cancellation clause that Inter will pay me if theywant my departure and another that I will pay Inter if I want to leave. 'It's all simple and very objective. There will never be anever-ending story with us as has happened in the past with otherpeople. We are honest people with honest contracts and objectivity.' Despite the fact Mourinho led Inter to the Serie A title in hisfirst season at the club, his relationship with club president MassimoMoratti has been strained. He said: 'How can my love for Italy have finished if I never had any love for it? I like working at Inter. 'I like difficult things. So I'm OK. My place is always in dangerbecause I always coach clubs which a lot of people would like to coach. 'I always leave teams set up for future years, because I alwaysleave excellent working conditions and structures for those who arrive. 'But if my place is in danger after having won the league and withme leading it again and having qualified for the Champions League, imagine what it's like for those who cyclically fail to meet theirobjectives.'
