Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists he is happy to have left the club and is pleased with the record he enjoyed in his three years at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho left the Blues by mutual consent on Wednesday night, just over 24 hours after his misfiring side had drawn 1-1 with Rosenborg in the Champions League.
Speculation that the former FC Porto manager would stay in English football have also been dampened by confirmation that his children had said goodbye to their teachers after school on Friday.
"From a professional and personal point of view, I'm feeling great,'' he said in an interview with Portuguese state broadcaster RTP.
"I'm glad to have left. I'm glad to have left.
"I'm proud of what I did at Chelsea, not only in terms of results but the mark I left on the country, the city, the fans, my opponents, English soccer. My mark is here."
Mourinho won two successive Premier League title, two Carling Cups and last season's FA Cup in his three full seasons at Stamford Bridge.
