Mourinho admits Real interest

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reopened the debate about his Stamford Bridge future by revealing his desire to coach Real Madrid.

The Portuguese coach is reportedly unhappy at the Premiership champions after a series of fall-outs with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

Mourinho, who flew to Spain to watch Champions League opponents Valencia in La Liga action at Osasuna immediately after Sunday's FA Cup clash with Tottenham, told Spanish television that he would be interested in a switch to the Bernabeu.

However, the former Porto coach has ruled out a move to Spain next season.

"For me it would be an honour (to coach Real Madrid)," he told Canal Plus.

"I do not discard this in the future but not now.

"I reject the option of Real for the next season because I have a contract until the year 2010 with Chelsea. I am lover of English football.

"Today Real Madrid have a big coach like Fabio Capello."
