Mourinho’s press conference ahead of Chelsea’s champions league tie with Steaua Bucharest tomorrow, ended in rather abrupt fashion.
When questioned on why Kevin De Bruyne hadn’t traveled with the squad, when he was seemingly 100% fit, Mourinho seemed unhappy by the question, he was angry that the questions were always being directed at players who were not in the squad. He also mentioned that everyone has been reporting on Mata’s recent exclusion and that now he was in the team he gets no mention. After adding that he hadn't been happy enough with De Bruyne’s recent training and match performances for him to get in this squad, he got up shook Lampard’s, who was also at the press conference, hand and left.
Chelsea lost their first match of the Champions League two weeks ago against Basel, making this match crucial to Chelsea Champions League campaign.
