AC Milan have denied holding talks with Chelsea regarding Brazil international Alexandre Pato. The San Siro star has been a reported as a summer-long target of the Premier League Blues as they look for a 'marquee' signing. Rumours on Sunday suggested new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, who gave Pato his first-team break at Milan, is ready to spend €52million (£44m) before loaning the 19-year-old back to the Italian giants. But the Serie A side have rubbished stories which have implied that they are in discussions with the Blues. A statement on Milan's official website read: "With regards to the rumours circulated this morning by the English press, AC Milan clarify and reaffirm that there are no negotiations ongoing with Chelsea regarding Alexandre Pato, and that the player is absolutely non transferable." Pato, who is under contract until June 2012, finished as Milan's second top scorer behind Kaka in Serie A last season with 15 goals in 36 appearances.
