Milan chief Berlusconi denies club are in talks with Chelsea over Pirlo switch

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi insists Andrea Pirlo is not on the verge of signing for Chelsea. The Italy midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea ever since the arrival of former Rossoneri coach Carlo Ancelotti to the London club. Midfield dynamo: Andrea Pirlo in action against Chelsea during the recent friendly in America Reports suggest Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani, who is also said to be preparing a bid to buy the Serie A club, is in London to discuss the deal.   However, Berlusconi insists neither story has any basis to it.   "They are all stories, there's no truth at all," he told reporters.   "I don't know anything, I haven't talked to Galliani: I also learnt this from journalists and I was surprised."
