Me and Drogba can become the most feared strikers in Europe, claims Anelka

Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka believes he and Didier Drogba can become the most dangerous strike partnership in Europe and will be more feared than the forwards at Real Madrid and Barcelona. Drogba scored both of the Blues' goals in the opening win over Hull City at Stamford Bridge and Anelka says he would not want to work with any other striker in the world. Anelka said: 'If we consistently play together, we can become the most feared strike partnership in Europe - and that includes the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona. 'There are some great strikers in world football at the moment, like Fernando Torres and David Villa. But when you really need a goal, there is no better man to look to than Didier. 'He never gives up and his attitude for the team is fantastic. For me, he is the most complete striker in the world.' Anelka won the Barclays Premier League golden boot with 19 goals last season but says he does not mind if Drogba wins it this season - just as long as Chelsea win the title. 'I'd love to win the Golden Boot again but, if it is Didier who wins it, then I really won't mind, he said. 'All that matters is that the title comes back to Chelsea. The boss has us playing as a team at the moment and nobody is out for personal glory.'
