Mick McCarthy is waiting for Chelsea to make a decision on whether to allow Michael Mancienne to join Wolves on loan. Mancienne made 10 appearances on loan at Molineux last season and McCarthy is keen to bring the defender back to the club following promotion to the Premier League. Wolves have made an offer for the England Under 21 international, but have yet to be given the green light to sign Mancienne. McCarthy reiterated his admiration for the 21-year-old and is now waiting for his Chelsea counterpart Carlo Ancelotti to reach a decision on the player's future. "He's Chelsea's player and it's up to Chelsea what they do with him," McCarthy told Sky Sports News. "Everybody knows I like him, everybody knows I think he's a really good player and he did really well for us. "We'll see. It's up to Chelsea what they do with their players, not me." Mancienne has been involved in Chelsea's pre-season campaign and played the first half of a practice match against a QPR XI on Tuesday.
