Mancio Blues link dismissed

The agent of former Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini has rubbished rumours linking his client with the manager's job at Chelsea.

Reports in Italy had suggested that Mancini was being lined up to replace Luiz Felipe Scolari, should the Blues fail to improve on their poor recent form.

However, Mancini's advisor Maurizio De Giorgis told Goal.com: "I can tell you that nobody has approached Mancini.

"We haven't had any contact with Chelsea, Manchester City or any other English side.

"Mancini is studying English, but he wasn't in England last week. He is in Italy and has been there for quite a long time.

"You never know what might happen in football though. We could get a call from someone in the next few hours.

"For now Mancini is being paid by Inter and we haven't considered any other club."
