Manchester United told top target Karim Benzema is on market for £30m

Manchester United could sign Karim Benzema for about £30million, according to the Lyon forward's representative. Real Madrid also have the France international in their sights and Karim Djaziri said it would be crazy if Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was quoted a higher price than that of established Valencia striker David Villa. 'Ferguson wants Karim this summer,' said Djaziri. 'However his transfer fee will not be above £35m. He is only 21-years-old, the only time a transfer of a 21-year-old went so high it was Robinho's transfer to Real Madrid (from Santos). 'Karim can't be valued higher than David Villa, who will cost more than £40m.' Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero's agent Jose Segui has denied United have made an offer for the Atletico Madrid striker. Aguero, 21, is on Sir Alex Ferguson's wanted list while Chelsea and Inter Milan are also keen on the player. But Segui said: 'I have not been contacted by anyone. I have no information of an offer from Manchester United or other teams.'
