Close team: Gary Neville (left) kisses team-mate Paul Scholes after his winning goal at Eastlands kept United firmly in the hunt for the title
Gary Neville has piled the pressure on Chelsea with a Premier League title warning: Manchester United are right behind you.
United's last gasp 1-0 derby win over rivals City at Eastlands on Saturday was followed by the Blues sinking to defeat at Tottenham, leaving the Red Devils just one point off the pace with three matches each remaining.
And Neville turned up the heat on Chelsea by insisting that his side are now ready to pounce on any mistakes made in the run-in and steal the crown.
Neville said: 'Obviously we would prefer to be in Chelsea's position because they're ahead. But we know if we win our three remaining matches and Chelsea slip up again, the title will be ours.
'We were hoping there would be twists and turns before the end of the season like there was on Saturday, and we hope there are more to come.'

Neville added: 'The manager asked us if we still wanted to win the championship and we do. While we still have a chance to win it, we have to go for it.
'The fundamental thing we have to focus on is winning our remaining three games rather than concerning ourselves with other teams. Too many times this season we haven't done our job when we have been thinking about possible scenarios in the table.'
