Lucio, who captained Brazil to their recent Confederations Cup success, would cost in the region of £7 million. Although a Manchester City delegation travelled to Munich this week to try and secure Lucio's services, manager Mark Hughes could be heartened by reports that Terry is said to be angry with the club's board ever since City tabled their £30 million bid. According to the Sun, the club have yet to speak to Terry about his future. An insider said: "John feels betrayed and even unwanted. "It's unbelievable - even though he's the club captain and one of the Blues' most important players, senior management at the club haven't once tried to talk to him." Meanwhile, Lucio said: "It is up to Bayern what they want to do. I am happy in German, but I would be interested in a new challengwe in a new country." Reports last month suggested the Brazil defender was one of four players - along with Tim Borowski, Andreas Ottl and Christian Lell - new coach Louis van Gaal was looking to move on. An indignant Lucio said he would not hang around if he was not wanted.
