France international Florent Malouda is hoping to sign an extended contract with Chelsea this summer.
Malouda struggled in his first 18 months with the club following his £13.5million transfer from Lyon, but has produced some fine displays since the turn of the year culminating in a superb performance in Saturday's FA Cup Final victory against Everton.
Reports also suggest that Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti will offer new three-year contracts to Didier Drogba and Alex.
Malouda was quoted in the London Evening Standard as saying: "We will have a meeting soon but both parties want to carry on.
"It's a wonderful experience but just the beginning. I hope in the next years you will see me win many, many trophies.
"When you play so many high-profile games you get the experience and confidence that comes with it. I hope to share joy and happiness with the fans.
"With Ashley Cole on the left we have confidence so it gives us a lot for the next years."
Malouda has 12 months of his current Stamford Bridge deal left to run as does Alex.
