Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has backed his France team-mate Nicolas Anelka to sign a new contract and commit his future to the Blues.[LNB] Malouda is convinced that Anelka will sign a new two-year deal and believes many other stars will commit themselves to the Blues.[LNB]Anelka, linked with a move to Manchester United, has yet to sign an extension to his current contract.[LNB]The 31-year-old has scored 40 goals in the last two seasons since he joined from Bolton for £15million in 2008.[LNB]Anelka, Joe Cole and Michael Ballack are all out of contract this summer but the Germany captain, who has today been ruled out of the World Cup finals through injury, is the only one likely to leave.[LNB]"I know that he (Anelka) wishes to stay and to extend his contract," said Malouda. "Now it's just a straight relation between him and the club but I know there have been discussions between them.[LNB]"Things are very good for him. During the transfer window there is always speculation but there is no doubt."[LNB]Chelsea became only the seventh club in history to achieve the league and FA Cup double when they beat Portsmouth 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday.[LNB]They clinched the coveted Double for the first time in the club's history during coach Carlo Ancelotti's debut season in charge at Stamford Bridge.[LNB]But the Champions League remains the priority for both coach and his squad and Malouda expects Ancelotti to add to the squad where he feels it is necessary.[LNB]"In a team like Chelsea you want to win everything," said Malouda. "We've done the Double but I told John Terry that should be the minimum.[LNB]"Our ambition has to grow and we have to be regularly on top of the league. If you stay too relaxed that's when you start to fall down.[LNB]"We will come back with more appetite and next year we should try to add something.[LNB]"We have the quality to do that, you just have to see the amount of goals we scored, but we may have to be more consistent. There were moments where we dropped points.[LNB]"I don't know how many changes are required, that's not my role. The manager has a lot of experience and knows what was missing from us this season and what will bring something more."
