Chelsea and Manchester City transfer target Maicon has dropped a strong hint that he sees his future in Italy with current club Internazionale.
The Brazil wing-back's future with the Italian champions has been the subject of much debate since the Serie A season ended.
Maicon claimed he could leave Inter after not being offered a new contract to highlight his importance to the team.
That led to suggestions that both Chelsea and Manchester City were preparing £12million bids to lure the right-sided defender to England.
However, Maicon claims he is happy to stay in Milan ahead of a planned series of talks between his representatives and the club.
"I have a contract until 2013," he said after helping Brazil to a 3-2 Confederations Cup Final victory over the USA on Sunday.
"I'm sure that we will reach an agreement, but we must still talk to each other."
