Latics extend Ferreira loan
Chelsea winger Fabio Ferreira has extended his loan spell at Oldham for a further month.
The 19-year-old winger has yet to figure in Oldham's first team since arriving at Boundary Park in February.
However, new boss Joe Royle has been impressed with the player in training and has asked that his loan be extended in a bid to pep up an ailing bid for promotion.
"Fabio has looked bright in training and I've asked him to stay here if he hasn't got senior football to go back to at Chelsea," Royle told his club's official website.
The former Sporting Lisbon trainee has yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea after arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2005.
