Lamps - Hiddink a good choice

Frank Lampard believes Russia coach Guus Hiddink is the right man to oversee Chelsea's end of season charge for Premier League glory.[LNB] The Blues found themselves without a manager after World Cup winning coach Luiz Felipe Scolari paid the price for a string of disappointing league results.[LNB]Blues supremo Roman Abramovich has turned to Hiddink to plug the gap between now and the end of the season and Lampard, for one, believes the vastly-experienced tactician can do a job.[LNB]The England international has already seen his team-mates' spirits lifted by the Dutchman, who was in the stands to witness Chelsea's 3-1 win over Watford on Saturday.[LNB]Trying to impress"He has cast his eye over training and the game and you can see a little lift in the lads trying to impress him, which always happens when a new manager comes in," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I think he will be happy with the desire and spirit we showed at 1-0 down (against Watford) and some of the football we played on a difficult pitch was good. I am sure he is looking forward to working with us.[LNB]"I think I will enjoy working with him because we all know him as a manager, we know what he did before with other teams. We look forward to working with him."[LNB]Must-win gameChelsea do battle with high-flying Aston Villa this weekend and Lampard feels the Londoners must emerge from their trip to the Midlands victorious, if they are to stay in the title hunt.[LNB]"Aston Villa is massive because they are in front of us (in the Premier League)," he continued. "To still be in the chase we have to win the game.[LNB]"It is going to be tough but we have a lot of big players, a strong team and we can do it."[LNB]
