Lampard - We can close gap
Frank Lampard insists Chelsea will not give up in their battle to close the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester United.[LNB] A last-gasp win at home to Wigan Athletic on Saturday allowed Chelsea to move into second spot in the table on goal difference after Liverpool lost at Middlesbrough.[LNB]The Blues are now seven points adrift of United, who have a game in hand, but Lampard will not concede defeat in the title race.[LNB]The midfielder saw United let a lead slip last season, although they still won the title, and he is hoping the reigning champions will drop points in the coming weeks.[LNB]Keep going"We closed the gap last year and only fell a little bit short, the gap can close," Lampard told the Evening Standard.
