Lampard targets return at Villa
Frank Lampard is hoping to return from injury in time for Chelsea's Premier League game at Aston Villa next week.[LNB] England midfielder Lampard, 32, has not played for club or country since aggravating a hernia problem in August's 2-0 win against Stoke.[LNB]He underwent surgery last month and resumed training only to suffer a groin strain.[LNB]Lampard has missed Chelsea's last seven games and England's opening two European Championship qualifiers and will also sit out next Tuesday's clash with Montenegro.[LNB]He said in the Evening Standard: "I don't really want to set dates but I'm hoping to return after the international break.[LNB]"I've got a good couple of weeks to work with the physios. Hopefully, I won't be too far away.[LNB]"I'm a horrible person to be around when I'm not playing so it's been frustrating for me."
