Lampard aims for the league

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is setting his sights on winning back the Premier League title this season. The Stamford Bridge club have not been able to get their hands on the trophy for the last three seasons after winning it twice in succession. And although England playmaker would still like to taste glory in the Champions League, he is focussing his efforts on the domestic stage. "For me it's the league," he told Chelsea's official website. "I grew up watching the Premiership and the league before that and it's a lovely feeling to be the best team in your country. I want that back. "The Champions League is definitely something I want to win at least once in my career but for me, the league is where we need to get the consistency levels we had a few years ago."
