Steve Kutner was quoted on cittaceleste.it as saying the England midfielder would definitely depart Stamford Bridge in the summer, and that a move to Serie A was possible. But after the story broke, BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Mark Chapman tweeted:
"Lampard's agent has just told us he 'hasnt spoken to anybody about Lampard's future and hasn't given any interview about it'."
