Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has admitted the style of the club's performances this season have been disappointing.
The Blues appointed Avram Grant as Jose Mourinho's successor in September with the Israeli coach promising to bring a more exciting brand of football to Stamford Bridge.
Grant has led the club to the semi-finals of the Champions League, the Carling Cup Final and to second place in the Premier League table and Kenyon has praised his achievements.
However, the chief executive has conceded there is still room for improvement when it comes to entertainment.
"I don't think that it is where we want to be but everybody still wants to improve," he said.
Meanwhile, Kenyon has called for supporters to back Grant as he looks to secure European and domestic glory during the final weeks of the campaign.
Sections of the Stamford Bridge faithful were critical of his substitutions during Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final win over Fenerbahce.
"We are in the semi-final of the Champions League and we are right up there in the most competitive run-in of the Premier League that we have had for many years," he added.
"The crowd needs to get behind the team and that is as much Avram as anyone else.
"It has only been a fairly small element (who were critical) and I'm sure we will see the crowd at Stamford Bridge behind the complete team."
