Kalou warning for big-spending City

Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou has warned Manchester City the money they have spent this summer will not guarantee them a season of success.[LNB] City boss Roberto Mancini has spent over £70million on signing Yaya Toure, Jerome Boateng, Alexander Kolarov and David Silva as he looks to wrest the league title from the Chelsea's grasp.[LNB]Kalou, though, believess their new arrivals will take time to gel into a team capable of winning the championship.[LNB]"Manchester City will do great because they have brought some good players in but at the end of the day it's what happens on the pitch, and having new players doesn't guarantee a win," he said on the club's official website.[LNB] "Just because you bring in 10 new players every year doesn't mean you are going to finish top of the table.[LNB]"City did the same thing last season and finished fifth and I am not sure if they'll be any stronger this time.[LNB]"Spending a lot of money on new signings doesn't guarantee anything. City have to remember there are still teams like Chelsea, (Manchester) United, Liverpool and Arsenal who will always be at the top.[LNB]"And this year we will all be up there fighting for the title again."
