Juve chief denies Blues link

Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has dismissed reports linking David Trezeguet with a move to Chelsea. The fiery frontman has seen his relationship with Juve manager Claudio Ranieri disintegrate after complaining about a lack of playing time. The former Monaco man is said to be unhappy having started just twice since recovering from a groin injury at the start of February. This figure is unlikely to improve with fellow strikers Alessandro Del Piero, Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta ahead of him in the pecking order. Cobolli Gigli, though, is defiant that the player is staying put. "Trezeguet will not leave Juventus," he said. "An offer from Chelsea? I am not aware of this."
