The transfer window opens officially today yet for the last few weeks since the Premie League ended with Manchester United as champions, Chelsea has been linked with every "available" world class striker.
From Radamel Falcao to Robert Lewandoski to Edison Cavani, we have had it all but till date it has all turned out to be mere speculation
Falcao has joined the french revolution at ligue 2 champions Monaco much to the amazement of the watching world, Lewandoski is not up for sale according to his club and Napoli just won't budge on their valuation of Cavani.
Frankly speaking, I am sick of the current situation and i can't wait for us to get a good striker.
Ba should be sold and if you watched the Confererations Cup third place match you would have seen just how good Cavani can be on his day but do we really need him? There are cheaper and much younger options out there, a certain Christian Benteke comes to mind and Wilfred Bony is not so bad either.
We could also go the way Diamio. With a price tag as huge as is being touted for Cavani, he would be under intense pressure from his first minute at Chelsea if he signed, and God forbid, he doesn't score in his first few games and the inevitable Torrws comparisons will arise.
Pre-season starts in less than two weeks, we need our striker now or never.
