Chelsea boss Jose Mournho says he is content with the arrival of director of football, Avram Grant, but has warned the new man that he doesn't want any interference in team affairs.
Grant has moved to Stamford Bridge from Portsmouth, while he has previous coaching experience of his own from spells in charge of Maccabi Haifa, Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Israel national team.
However, Mourinho is clear that the pair should be able to work together in the future.
He told reporters: "I think the club was very clear in the statement they put out. If you want to know more about his work ethic, you'll have to speak with him.
"He's here to give some support to different areas in the club and for me that is not a problem.
"If the club wants to bring people to make the club better and to create a job for somebody to support those different areas in the club, then fine.
"From my point of view, he must not interfere with the power I have in relation to my job.
"So, welcome and I will try to help him with what happens at the club."
