Jose Mourinho Willing to Sell Barca Target in January

The Blues boss is reportedly happy to sell defensive ace David Luiz in the January transfer window for €35 million.

Barcelona is expected to make another move for Luiz during the upcoming winter transfer because Mourinho simply does not want him at Stamford Bridge.

The Nou Camp’s side has been eager to add the Blues’ defender to their line up for some time now and French newspapers are claiming that they will finally get their wish this winter.

Barca came close to signing the Brazilian international during the summer and are strongly looking to seal this move in order to provide a strong replacement for Carles Puyol.

A €35 million offer for Luiz would be sufficient to convince Mourinho to send him packing for La Liga, according to reports.

The Special One already has replacement options in mind hoping to bring in Real Madrid ace Sergio Ramos and Porto defensive duo Nicolas Otamendi and Eliaquim Mangala.

While Mourinho might be prepared to give up on the Brazilian, any future plans of leaving will have to depend on what options Chelsea has of players joining the squad.
